August 2019 – 45 STAG employees, including CEO Ben Butcher, traveled to Walpole for another successful volunteer day with The Home for Little Wanderers.  This has become a tradition for the past five years, now nicknamed ‘STAG Day’  STAG’s partnership with the organization has produced many hours of manual labor, from building a playground, painting walls, landscaping and most recently building an orchard as part of a new Horticultural program.

“STAG Day 2019! You and your team worked so incredibly hard and we all could not be more appreciative. You all went greatly above and beyond! The weather was not by our side the whole time, but it made for some great memories and stories.”  Maha Nafees-Special Events and Volunteer Specialist-The Home for Little Wanderers.

September 2019 – After providing financial support to help Room to Grow families, a group of STAG employees volunteered at the organization’s new warehouse in Hyde Park.  The team spent a half-day working with the Room to Grow to help sort, quality check, and bundle donated baby items.  The items were then shipped out to Room to Grow’s two Baby Boutiques in Boston (South End and Dorchester). Through this warehouse, Room to Grow is able to support the 500+ families in Room to Grow’s program.

November 2019 – STAG employees entered the Spartan Race for the third straight year to support the Home for Little Wanderers.  We, along with many other corporate partners, battled through the course at Fenway Park and collectively raised over $34k!   The Home for Little Wanderers mission is “to ensure the healthy behavioral, emotional, social and educational development and physical well-being of children and families living in at-risk circumstances.”
